Water, Water Everywhere!
The rain started to fall Friday night intermittently and grew progressively stronger Saturday. Soccer games for the kids got squeezed in between rain drops and the dishes in the sink piled up as we were trapped indoors almost all day. By Saturday night the rain was steady. Sunday the rain came heavy in the night. We have not had three days of rain in Athens for quite a while and thus it has taken me a few months to admit that I have a water problem.

My house sits on a hill making it two stories in the front and three in the back. My daylight basement opens to a wooded back yard and a creek in the back. Yes, everything flows through the neighborhood down my driveway, around my carport and into the creek. During soft rain, I enjoy the sound of raindrops on the deck and patio. Last night I awoke to thunder and when I put my feet on the floor this morning - damp carpet. It seems that I have a water problem.
